↳ State of preservation | Die einzeln verglaste Fragmente Ch/U 6405 und Ch/U 6352 gehören zu ein und derselben Handschrift, wie sich aus der Lokalisierung der zu einer Abschrift des Miaofa lianhua jing, 妙法蓮華經 (Taishō 262) gehörenden chinesischen Textfragmente auf der Vorderseite rekonstruieren lässt.
Die Fragmente sind beidseitig beschrieben. Es handelt sich um Fragmente einer chinesischen Buchrolle, die in Sekundärnutzung auf der unbeschriebenen Rückseite zur Niederschrift des altuigurischen Textes verwendet wurde. Beschädigungen durch Abriss und Einrisse. Die Schrift ist stellenweise leicht abgerieben. Die Papierfärbung ist uneinheitlich und zeigt im vorliegenden Fall Hitzeeinwirkungen (durch Brand?) an. Die Fragmente Ch/U 6405 und Ch/U 6352 lassen sich nicht unmittelbar zusammensetzen, gehören aber zu demselben Textabschnitt: Der Text in Zeile Ch/U 6405/v/1/ setzt sich nach einer Lücke durch Abriss in Ch/U 6352/v/1 fort. Die Fragmente werden jeweils unter einer Vollverglasung aufbewahrt. Zu weiteren Details vgl. die Einzeleinträge. |
